Cell Bio 2024, the joint meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) and European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), will showcase a diverse global community of the brightest minds in cell biology. Come network with scientists, present research, explore the exhibit hall, and learn the latest in science and technology focusing on cell biology as the fundamental basis of biology as well as emerging interdisciplinary topics.

This year, archaea will be represented in at least two sessions:
- Bacterial and Archaeal Cell Biology (Saturday, December 14, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:00 am; Organizers: Ethan Garner, Harvard; and Susan Schlimpert, John Innes Center
- Cell Biology at the Extemes (Monday, December 16, 2024, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm; Organizers: Arthur Charles-Orszag, UCSF; and Dyche Mullins, UCSF)
We encourage archaeal researchers to attend and present a poster. The deadline to submit an abstract for poster presentation is September 4, 9 pm EDT.
